Front Yards in Bloom - 2010 Winners!
With the Woodvale Community League participating again in Front Yards in Bloom in 2010, it was great to see so many yards with a wide variety of plantings and other components to create such great curb appeal in the community. The judges had their work cut out for them to determine this years top two winners in Woodvale due to the number of nominations.
Again, we did not have any nominations in the apartment/condo/townhouse section within our promotion so we were only able to award a 1st and 2nd place winner within the single family home section. The winners received gift cards, complements of the Mill Wood's Town Centre Shopping Centre and we thank them again for their support on this promotion.
The 1st place winners were: Anne and Mike Giles at 6307-34 B Ave who received a $50 Gift Card and the 2nd place winners were Colleen Elston and Bruce Pawl at 280 Greenoch Cr who received a $25 Gift Card. Congratulations to the winners as well as all the nominees! The two winning yards are also automatically entered as finalists for the 2011 Front Yards in Bloom competition for the City of Edmonton.
