Do you have a neighbour or know someone in Woodvale that has done a great job on landscaping their front yard? Then nominate them for the Front Yards in Bloom competition. What is Front Yards in Bloom you ask? This is an annual competition sponsored by the City of Edmonton, Canada Post and the Edmonton Horticultural Society in recognizing great looking front/side yards across the city. And anyone can nominate a yard!

- As part of the First Place Housing Project on the west side of the Greenview school, the 6 basketball courts had to be removed in 2008 with the City of Edmonton agreeing to replace these on other parkland on the Greenview site but was not anticipated to be done until 2009.
